Griffin
Jeff Griffin started his own menswear label in 1993, and has a shop in London's Portobello Road.
Griffin clothes are experimental, humorous and hardy. They include moulded hoods, adjustable features, upside down coats, travel pods and sleeping bag coats. The inspiration for these designs comes from Hugh Hefner, gypsies and geometry.
Griffin doesn't launch two completely new collections each year, instead it creates key garments - like the legendary sleeping bag coat - and refines them across a few seasons.
Griffin Philosophy
We are about discovering new dimensions, exploring creative continents and journeying ever onwards. Griffin installations are their own phenomena and have created another stratosphere for garments to profile themselves over and above the catwalk. We work with designers from other creative forces, fine artists and architects. It's a large international team of like-minded people and we are all aspiring to release the Griffin dream of quality garments, with a tale to tell.
